Earlier we looked at what we could find about the current ownership of Unit 5 at 825 W Forest Rd at Gore Creek Place in Vail, CO.
Now we are looking at who originally bought the condo from the developer. We do not know which individual person or people held a stake in Unit 5 when it was purchased new. Alfonso de Angoitia had the contract to purchase the unit before it was built, as shown by a construction loan filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Our examination below shows the actual buyer of record was a Colorado corporation that used a Televisa address in Mexico.
Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega is the Executive Vice President of Grupo Televisa and has been a member of the Televisa board since 1997. He served on the boards of Grupo Financiero Banorte, Univision Communications, and beverage company Fomento Económico Mexicano (FEMSA) as of year-end 2015.

Alfonso de Angoitia executed a purchase contract with Gore Creek Place LLC for the then-unbuilt Unit 5W at the Gore Creek Place condominiums in Vail, Colorado. This was shown by the developer’s Construction Loan document which it filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission later that year.
Based on our review of the condominium plat recorded by Gore Creek Place LLC, we believe the unbuilt Unit 5W became Unit 5 at Gore Creek Place in Vail, Colorado.

5 GCP, Inc., a Colorado Corporation, purchased Unit 5 at Gore Creek Place in Vail, Colorado from Gore Creek Place LLC for $4,500,000.
The deed was signed Jan. 4, 2007:
The Eagle County Assessor’s Office considered the sale date for valuation purposes as Jan. 11, 2005, the same date Alfonso de Angoitia executed the purchase contract for Unit 5W as shown above.
The document number shown on the assessor’s Property Record Card (200701128) matches the document number on the 2007 deed:
The address for 5 GCP Inc. was given on the deed as Av. Chapultepec 18, Col. Doctores, Mexico D.F. (i.e. Mexico City):
When we looked up the address on GoogleMaps, we found that it was a Televisa location:
And we learned that it was a Televisa location at least as far back as July 2005 according to a filing at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission:
