Ernesto Fernandez Hurtado and Ghislaine Evelyne T. De Fernandez purchased 5128 Gore Circle in Vail, Colorado for $252,165 on February 18, 1994. They sold it to El Refugio Blanco, S.A. de C.V., a Mexico Corporation, for $1,300,000 on December 30, 2008.

The sole administrator of El Refugio Blanco, S.A. de C.V. is E. Fernandez Terouanne according to the company’s most recent Periodic Report filed January 31, 2018 in Colorado.

Ernesto Fernandez Hurtado died in 2010.  His widow is also known as Evelyne Terouanne.  He was a Mexican economist who served as the Director General of the Bank of Mexico from 1970 to 1976. Peña Nieto’s Secretary of Communications and Transportation, Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, referred to Fernandez Hurtado as an “uncle” who started him in his career.
