The documents we have examined from Colorado do not show who owns Skicaverna LLC.  But they do show that Juan Domingo Beckmann personally owned and sold the above-mentioned real property to Skicaverna.  The Skicaverna LLC articles of organization listed Juan Domingo Beckmann as having personally formed the company but they did not show the company’s ownership.

In February 2016, Bloomberg reported that Juan Domingo Beckmann owned 30% of the Jose Cuervo tequila business through a holding company and had an estimated fortune of $1 billion. His father, Juan Beckmann Vidal, owned the remaining 70% of the family business and was estimated to be worth $2.4 billion.

The deed does not make the purchase price clear.  No real estate documentary fees were recorded with the deed.  No documentary fee would have been due if the price was $500 or lower under Colorado law (C.R.S. 39-13-102).  Only an $11 recording fee was shown to be paid, but the recording fee is not based on the price of the property.
