Part 1 of this series examined Paralelo Holding Ltd, a British Virgin Islands company, which acquired Unit 17-A at 19500 Turnberry Way in Aventura Florida according to a deed signed August 6, 2013 by David Daniel Kabbaz and Victoria Zaga de Daniel Kabbaz. Paralelo Holding Ltd was operated by David Daniel Kabbaz Chiver in 2017 when he signed a notarized notice concerning the condo unit as an “Authorized Officer/Director/Partner/Manager”.
This installment examines the period before 2013. David Daniel Kabbaz and Victoria Zaga de Daniel Kabbaz bought Unit 17-A in January 1995 for $335,000 according to the documentary tax paid and information from the Miami-Dade County Office of the Property Appraiser. ChedrauiLeaks was unable to find any loans at the Miami-Dade County Recorder’s Office for the purchase, and we believe that the purchase is what is known as a “cash purchase.”

David Daniel Kabbaz Chiver is one of the founders of Grupo Danhos. He also serves as the Chairman of the Technical Committee for Fibra Danhos (as of August 21, 2018 according to the Fibra Danhos website).
Jose Antonio Chedraui Obeso was as of August 21, 2018 an independent director on the Technical Committee for Fibra Danhos and on the audit, nominations, and practices committees according to Fibra Danhos.
Elvira Daniel Kabbaz Zaga is David’s daughter. Elvira was confirmed on March 15, 2018 as David’s alternate as chairman of the Technical Committee for Fibra Danhos.
